We had a brilliant time at Charlesworth Carnival on Saturday 14th July. This year’s theme was ‘Jesus the Good Shepherd’. Our float was complete with live lambs that drew a lot of attention from the people lining the route. We shared a stall with Farming Christian Link. Our chapel supports this organisation and some of our members are involved in its work across the carnivals and county festivals and shows. The Gideons (who are renowned for gifting Bibles to all sorts of organisations, hotels, hospitals and so on) designed a special cover for the New Testaments specifically for their work alongside Farming Christian Link. More than 80 New Testaments were accepted by the lovely people attending the Carnival.<\/p>\n
